Women's Merino Wool/Silk Leggings

Super soft and silky organic merino wool and mulberry silk Womens leggings by Engel. 

You will live in these. So comfortable and they look gorgeous under skirts/dresses with some chunky socks and boots. Or simply gorgeous for lounging about in and super comfortable as sleepwear with their gentle waistband.

Sizes: XSmall 34/36 (8-10), Small 38/40 (10-12), 42/44 Medium (14-16), 46/48 Large (16-18). The European size refers to the circumference at top of hips in Inches.

Garment Measurements taken flat across the front (in cm):

• Size 34/36: Waist elastic band width 26cm, Hip width 33, Length 105;
• Size 38/40: Waist elastic band width 28, Hip width 37, Length 106;
• Size 42/44: Waist elastic band width 30, Hip width 41, Length 107;
• Size 46/48: Waist elastic band width 32, Hip width 45, Length 108cm

Fit advice: standard fit, fine rib fabric very stretchy and waistband elastic non-constricting -  gentle note - if you usually experience chaffing then this constant friction may cause laddering over time since the leggings are free of synthetics. If so, avoid continuous wear and rotate with other garments and put them on and off gently to avoid snagging. 

Size comparison with Child's leggings size 152cm: inseam leg measurement of Women's wool/silk leggings size XS 34/36 is 83cm and Child's leggings size 152cm is 66cm.

Care: Handwashing best but can be washed on a cold machine wool wash with a natural Enzyme-free wool shampoo like Sonett (see our guide to washing wool) - reshaping before drying is important to maintain length and shape with all wool clothing.

Note on using machine wash: Wool washing programmes of washing machines vary massively, therefore we can not grant warranty for any damages. With regards to using your wool washing machine cycle always use cold. If you choose to wash at 30 degrees the machine will still rinse with cold water and this shock to the fibres can cause the wool to shrink.
